Hollywood Sign And Griffith Park
Start your day 2 of your 5 days in Los Angeles itinerary by hiking up Griffith Park in the morning. From the Griffith Park Observatory, you can see the Hollywood Sign, Downtown Los Angeles, The Ocean, and The Beaches. There are many things to do here including visiting the Western Museum that has lots of history and so much more.
While here stay at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, located right on Hollywood Blvd near the Dolby Theatre. This wonderful hotel has a swimming pool, fitness center, an Italian and American Restaurant, and a bar
Universal Studios
After hiking in Griffith Park you need to head to Universal Studios for the afternoon and evening. Universal Studios is the headquarters for global entertainment and it also has a theme park and real-life interpretations of TV shows and movies. At Universal Studios, you can do a behind-the-scenes tour where you are taken behind the scenes of some of your favorite TV shows and movies and get to see actual sets. It truly is an amazing one-of-a-kind experience. There are also lots of rides to enjoy and usually not too packed.
Day 3 – Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood, Malibu
Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood
Start day 3 of your 5 days in Los Angeles by going to Downtown Los Angeles. Downtown Los Angeles is the most famous entertainment capital of the world. It has the Staples Center Arena, theme parks, wineries, great food, exciting nightlife, and so much more! Although Downtown Los Angeles is not a very budget-friendly place to stay it is definitely worth a visit.
Part of Downtown Los Angeles is also Hollywood and it is home to the huge worldwide entertainment business. Hollywood gets many tourists each year who come to see the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, the TCL Chinese Theatre, and much more. Visit Paramount Pictures which includes the Dolby Theatre, and Hollywood Bowl, and is also where the Oscars are held.
A great place to stay in Los Angeles is Level Los Angeles – Downtown South Olive Hotel. Located in the center of Los Angeles this beautiful hotel has an outdoor pool, and basketball court, and is a close walk to the Staples Centre. Another great place to stay in Los Angeles is Sheraton Grand Los Angeles.
Malibu
After exploring Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood head to Malibu. Malibu is located just west of Los Angeles in California. This city is known for its beaches, hiking trails, surfing spots, stunning celebrity homes, cafes, and restaurants. While here be sure to check out El Matador State Beach which is a beach hidden under cliffs, and it has rock formations that make it a beautiful place for some amazing pictures. Also, visit the Point Dume State Beach and Preserve, which sits right by the Pacific Ocean and has amazing views of Santa Monica Bay. You can also walk up these cliffs that give you amazing 360-degree views of the ocean.
Stay at the Malibu Beach Inn while here. This first-class resort is located right on a private beach right on the ocean with oceanfront view rooms and a luxury spa. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay while in Malibu.
Day 4 – Melrose Avenue, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills
Melrose Avenue
Start day 4 of your 5 days in Los Angeles itinerary by checking out Melrose Avenue. Melrose Avenue is known for its famous stores, boutiques, restaurants, and bars. This amazing area also has a hip and cool vibe and is always expanding and opening new stores and restaurants all the time. Also, Melrose Avenue is also featured in TV shows like Entourage and Melrose Place.
Rodeo Drive
After spending some time touring Melrose Avenue you need to head to Rodeo Drive. One of Beverly Hills most famous streets is Rodeo Drive and it is known as one of the most elite shopping districts in the world. Rodeo Drive is a three-block stretch of streets lined with perfect palm trees, elegant floral displays, and wonderful architecture with shops and boutiques. It has many luxury and designer shops, couture fashion, award-winning restaurants, legendary hotels, and top-of-the-line brands. Some of these shops include Prada, Gucci, Armani, Chanel, Cartier, Tiffanys, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Versace, and many more. If you are looking to do some shopping then Rodeo Drive is a must.
Beverly Hills
After enjoying some fun shopping on Rodeo Drive head to the rest of Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is located just south of Hollywood Hills and is home to many Hollywood stars, famous cafes, amazing restaurants, and high-end shopping. The city has been home to many celebrities over many years. It is also home to numerous resorts and hotels including The Beverly Hilton and The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Another great place to stay in Beverly Hills is the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. This is another luxurious hotel that has private balconies with French doors, a full-service spa, an outdoor pool, views of the gardens, Italian cuisine, and much more.
A budget-friendly option for a hotel in Beverly Hills is the Cameo Beverly Hills. This hotel is a short walk to Rodeo Drive and is family-friendly, has large Veneitian-style rooms, a beautiful lounge, a restaurant, an outdoor pool and sundeck with loungers, views of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, a spa, and a fitness center.
Day 5 – Disneyland
A perfect way to end your 5 days in Los Angeles is by heading to Disneyland in Anaheim. Anaheim, California is best known for being the home to Disneyland California and the Anaheim Convention Center. Disneyland is an absolute must on everyone’s Southern California Bucket List. Disneyland California is one of the 5 Disney Resorts which have locations all over the world. This Disneyland Resort is the best theme park/amusement park in California. It has many resorts, restaurants, bars, and shops. Must visit!
When in Anaheim stay at Hyatt Regency Orange County. This hotel is one of my personal favorites. It has 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, and fun activities, and is located just a couple minutes’ drive from Disneyland. You can buy your Disney tickets here and this hotel also offers shuttles to Disneyland. Another close hotel to Disneyland is The Hilton Anaheim. A great hotel that has a pool, play area, and spa.
